I have one but wasn't looking to part with it just for nostalgia reasons; however, if you really want one and can't find one, I'd be happy to help. It's in storage, so I don't have a pic, but it only had 11K miles on it before I switched it for an aftermarket knob.
I'm about to order a Corsa cat-back for May install but I keep hearing about issues with fitment. Is there anything I can do to make sure Corsa sends me the right fit?
I am also looking to get a new triple-pass aluminum radiator this Spring before the hot Texas summer. Has anyone had any luck with this one from The Viper Store: https://www.theviperstore.com/Viper2_Products_Parts&Upgrades_Cooling.htm
I was also curious about the special anode radiator cap also...
Got these cats put on last October, didnt know that when I planned to put on the Belanger long tubes that they wouldnt fit with the high-flos…
Since install I’ve only put 3k miles on them and they are in fine condition.
Open on price, if anyone is interested let me know.
Yes, when they brought it inside they noticed that rear window wasnt flush against the body and the strut was sticking out from underneath, between the glass and the body. Thats what caused the (very minor and hardly noticeable) scratch.
Had that fixed and all good now.
Dean, what kind of...
Sorry for the late reply and thanks for all the feedback. Problem was with the new water pump i had installed in May. They replaced it and now everything is back to normal.
Might put in a new radiator this fall when i have more work done but so far she is handling this record breaking Texas...
Thanks, Dean. I was between rock and hard place because i was 30mi from my home in one direction and 30mi from my shop in the other. Instead of towing her home to try and burp myself (when that might not even be the issue) and then have to tow her to the shop anyways, i figured safer to just tow...
Im just going to take her into the shop, im too worried about all the coolant she is losing so quickly to try and do anything myself.
Why wouldn’t a lower thermometer help keep it running cooler though? Its actually 160 not 165, just looked and misspoke earlier.
Year is 2000, no performance mods.
After thinking about it more, i might have over filled the coolant day before because when i looked at reservoir last night it seemed much lower as if it boiled out.
Im going to go check the level now that its had all night to cool off.
Well, i thought i had done everything possible to keep this beauty running cool for the summer.
To accomplish that, prior to this summer starting here in Texas Ive done the following:
-Belanger High Flow Cats
-Silicone radiator hoses
-New water pump
-165 degree thermometer
-Silicone heater...
I am a novice and new owner but my understanding is that yes you can, see here: https://www.theviperstore.com/Viper2_Products_Parts&Upgrades_Cooling.htm
Hey yall, also looking for a Dallas viper tech. Called around to a few places but didnt get anywhere.
Any better advice now that its been 2yrs or is the Grapevine Dodge dealer still the best bet?
