Holy Fu_kin Sh_t!!!...this car handles and brakes well!!! Woodhouse did the set up and lowered it slightly. Then we put in Hawk HT-9 pads and thats all. Yesterday at Pocono it was actually UNDEBRAKING a few of the race cars with the big Brembos. I finally had to simulate a panic brake as hard as I could to get the ABS going. Awesome!!!
The car handles like it's on rails. I would like to think that it is all due to the new suspension set up but the knee bar on the cage really stiffened the entire front end up and must also be helping.
Point it in, trail brake deep and GOOOOOOOOO! Kudos to DC. After spending thousands on JRZ shocks , Hypercoil springs etc... on my previous 96 GTS...all I wanted now comes from the factory in the ACR. I just wish they would offer an ACR with a factory cage that would meet SCCA T1 requirements. This car is what American Club Racer is all about.
