Temp was about mid 20s this morning.. i was on a wide concrete surface bridge and as i started to make a very sharp turn the front tires lost all grip and i basically slid in a straight line for a good 15 feet... rather surprised me... i'm always wary of the rear tires breaking loose but the fronts was a new deal....no ice on road...

be careful out there ( hill street blues tone)

Yup, summer tires don't work in the cold at all. The PS2s are amazing compared to the PS1s and comparing those to runcraps makes me wonder why they made runcraps at all. I notice that the vette still uses them?

My last ride was on Dec 8, going to my friend's WH to store the car for the winter. That day was dry but the coldest so far at -2F in Montreal. The Ps2 on my '08 were frozen and although I did not slip, I had to drive like with an egg under my right foot, for at least 60 miles. The reactions of the car were scary / enjoyable at the same time. Hard to describe.
