Brunch at The HUB near Garden of the Gods
Tour Bishop Castle, complete with Swords and Dragons
Great Colorado Scenery​

8:30 - Those driving from Denver area - meet at the McDonalds at Founders Parkway in Castle Rock

At exit 184, take ramp right and follow signs for Founders Parkway/Meadows Parkway - 0.7 miles
Turn right onto Meadows Parkway - 0.1 mile
Turn right onto Factory Shops Blvd - 0.1 mile​

9:30 - Meet at The HUB, eat breakfast

10:30 - Finish breakfast and get underway, have gas tanks full

11:30 to 12:00 - Arrive at Bishop Castle, spend an hour or so at the castle

Head for the town of Westcliff for cokes, snacks, lunch, whatever (30-40 minutes drive time to Westcliff)

Drive back to Canon City via Skyline Drive (40 minute drive)

around 3:30 PM - Arrive back to Colorado Springs


Details of the trip:

The HUB is located at 4460 Forrest Hill Road

From I-25, go west on Garden of the Gods Road to the fourth light, Forrest Hill Road
Turn Left and you are at The HUB Car Wash & Diner - 9:30 meet for breakfast and coffee
Total trip (from Colorado Springs back to Colorado Springs) is approximately 5 to 6 hours

All state highways are through very pretty country, no gravel roads
