But Dave... you had white hood vents? Why not add some more flare ;)

It is an original hood for the Gen 3. The vents just show up a little more with the new liner. I would be interested in a shirt as well.

I think that the large blue decal and white SRT part looks great. I think the dual red logos are a bit over the top. I do think that those logos would be cool if u could spray them black. They would be more under-stated, yet add something to the top.

There is such a thing as constructive criticism, and straight rude criticism. Vipers are not known for being modest cars.

Man, some of you guys need to work out your frustrations in the gym, or in your significant other.

    In your significant other???

And really though, if I see something I don't like about a car at a forum and the person showing it to me has asked for opinions, you really expect me to deliver that opinion to that person via a treadmill? Really?

    Yes, IN.

It would be nice to express those opinions in a constructive way without the unnecessary insults and flames. If an individual has built up tension and stress, take it out at the gym and not on your brethren.

Like I said before, I don't mind criticism at all, it was just that Bruce guy calling me a ricer for putting on a hood liner with two too many logos that steamed me.

I can even laugh when someone makes a good comment when its all in fun. The logo's can be any color you want. Or size, or personalized with your name or anything you can imagine. I just chose the other viper logos. They can be removed any time you want and new ones put on in thier place.
I love the way I have it now, but someday I might change my mind and go with just a much bigger Gen 3 logo that takes up most of the pad. The pad itself is the coolest part of it. I love how it hugs all the recesses of the origional hood and seems to make the hood vents stand out more.

I guess most viper owners take the appearance of their car as sacrid ground and don't take to change well.

    It's all cool.:2tu:

    My take,,,was the thread title:

A new must have for all vipers ***(LOOK!)***

Why should I, or anyone, feel they 'should have' this mod?

A different title would have been a better choice, and probably prevented some of the rude comments (mine included, sorry).

Its your snake,,,make it look as you like, and enjoy it....

Well to me this is a MUST HAVE. There has only been 1 rude comment that I've seen so far, and it definately wasn't yours.
Next time I'll try to choose my titles better.
Just out of curosity, what DO you think is a MUST HAVE mod then?

I know you didn't ask me lol.. but a must have mod that I'm sure everyone would agree with is exhaust and/or intake. Those were the first things I did anyway since when I got my car the tires were already brand new. :)

Less is more. Go with one logo in one color.

You seem to have a vested interest in this hood liner. You come off like a Craigslist or ebay advertisement, ***(LOOK!)***.

    Do not want.

One logo, blue, would have looked cleaner.

Sorry to all that do not seem interested in this.
I just wanted to share a cool (to me) product from a nice guy that thought the viper owners would take an intrest in.
    Disregard this thread then.
And yea, I bought a viper just to sell these hood pads. Right!
