The '01,'02 and the '03 uses the Teves Mark 20e ABS system. The CAB (Controller Antilock Brake) module will monitor the wheel speeds via a sensor at each wheel. Since a conventional combination/proportioning valve is not used, the CAB will use special software called EVBP (Electronic Variable Brake Proportioning) during wheel deceleration tendencies. At that time, the CAB will use four solenoids (one per wheel) in a front/rear hydraulic split via three channels. The rear wheels are controlled together through one channel and the front wheels are controlled independently to maintain steering control. Hope this clears it up!
