I have 3.55 gear change. Does that affect dyno results? My understanding is that 4th gear is the 1:1 ratio which is why it is used for dyno testing. The dyno place I am taking my car to says it doesn't matter if the rear end is changed. I find that hard to believe and I guess I don't understand gearing then. Doesn't changing from 3.07s to 3.55s screw up the one to one ratio? It turns the drive shaft still at 1:1 but the dyno measures the wheels. Doesn't that make the 1:1 ratio have to be divided by 3.55 over 3.07. Or am I a math midget?
