Any chance the factory will add gear choices as option on \'03?

It would be a great option if the factory would allow the buyer to decide on the rear end gear (nothing new to some of you older guys). The 3.07 is a fine all around gear, however I feel that there are several customers that would much rather have the thrust off the line rather than the top speed and gas mileage.

3.07, 3.54, and 3.73 would be a good starting point.

Any chance?

No. The car companies are under constant pressure to improve gas milage. That would alone would end any consideration for lower gear options.

Fred is right, but it's my understanding that the "emmisions" issue with the Feds is also greatly affected by a gear change.
