Here are the details on the first annual Mopar Road course Festival:

Where:
Willow Springs International Raceway

When:
Sat. & Sun. August 10th & 11th

Who:
Daytona & Superbird wing cars, Cudas, Challangers, Darts, Shelbys, Vipers, all makes welcome though.

What:
-Big Course (2.5 miles, 9 turns)
-skid pad sessions
-ground school
-tire temp/pressure clinic
-brake clinic
-one-on-one in car instruction
-parade laps
-camper space

both days $350

They will try to hold it to 50 cars in 3 run groups and ride alongs ARE permitted so bring friends and family (and extra helmets).

Ron, let the Doug Dye know! Sounds like a blast. Any news on how much track time we'll get? I need some seat time!

I e-mailed doug to put this on the SoCal website and to e-mail the SoCal members.

REVISED:
There will be appox. 50 cars in 4 run groups, this means only 12-13 cars on the track at a time, lots of room. There will be 5 approx. 25 min. sessions each day, so you will get about 2 hours of seat time each day!!!

Brad, I'll take you for the ride of your life!! There will be instructors there also if you want some extended instruction.


So everyone knows applications received after 7/31 will have to pay a $25 late fee, so hurry and sign up.
