Brunch Cruise this Sunday.

Wanted to get this posted up here. Thank you Ken for coming up with the idea and Kelly for organizing it.

It's time to get the car out of the garage and do some driving! Please
join the club for a cruise to Charles Town Races and Slots for an EPIC
buffet. This location is reported to provide a grade-A spread, the
facility is beautiful and we'll make sure it's a fantastic drive to the
restaurant where we'll have private parking.

WHEN:
Sunday, August 9th - 12:00 PM (for anyone meeting us at the restaurant)
Sunday, August 9th - 9:30-10:00 AM Cruise Meetup - prompt departure at 10:30

COST:
Brunch is $15/person + tip for wait service as appropriate.

GENERAL INFO: Cruise time will be somewhere between 60 and 90 minutes.
Please arrive with enough gas for roughly 50-60 miles of driving to the
restaurant. According to MapQuest.com, the nearest gas stations are about
4-5 miles from the track, so you can get gas after lunch for your drive
home as needed.

IMPORTANT: *PLEASE* RSVP to [email protected] no later than noon on
Wednesday, Aug 5th if you plan on attending. We need to tell the
restaurant how many to expect. In your RSVP, please let me know if you
will bring your daily driver in the event of rain. If we have enough
people that will attend rain or shine, we will go...rain or shine. A
confirmation email will be sent on Saturday the 8th once we have a better
guess at the weather for Sunday. If we have rain on Sunday, the cruise
will be altered to provide a safer, more direct route.

The route does not go through Maryland. I was going to go through Leesburg, if you want we could hook up and ride out there.

Epic Buffet rocks!

For those of you that have not been there - this buffet rivals any Vegas offering, all sorts of food, and even a chocolate fountain

I'm in (with wife), with a predicted horrible hangover from the night before.

Awesome, looks like we will have a good turnout. Haven't checked the weather yet, but I'll bring the daily driver in the event of rain. I like taking taking turns fast in the wifes minivan.

Absolutely! I can't even begin to tell you how freaking lame my old Vette cruises were

I'm not really free till the end of Sept into Oct..but I'll try my damnest to work around the schedule as needed
