Butch is fast at IL VCA drag event,

Well folks while the V10 nat's were going on in Kentucky the IL VCA drag event went underway with just as much excitement. Butch the snake put on quite a show. Butch (2001 GTS, smoth tubes, filters, Belanger headers, exhaust, ported/polished heads and 150hp Nitrous shot) started on motor with a 11.79 @ 119mph, followed by a 11.6, then 11.4 @ 122mph all on motor. Few minutes later, the bottle went in and he tore off a upsetting, 11.2 @ 131 mph. This was not enough. Heat up the ET streets a little more tear off the line. Butch runs a 10.41 @ 134 mph with a 1.5 60' time headed INTO THE WIND. Quite the cream puff. He backed this up with a 10.42 @ 134.5 mph shortly afterward before the track officials said thats enough. This getting close to the quickest creampuff, or just 150shot? TOOOFST ripped off a 11.6 to be the quickest car on michelins. We have the runs on video, and will get them up soon. Good job to all.

Congrats to Wayland 'Butch the Snake' and Scotty TOOOFAST for putting on quite the show. Also props to Isaac 'PRVT JET' for hitting the 11's with his Belanger headers and exhaust equipped 02 GTS creampuff. Only other sub-12 second runs that I'm aware of were from Kurt 'The Machine' Billhartz in his 97 GTS. I don't recall any SRT's running quicker than mid 12's at about 117 mph. Someone please chime in if you know otherwise. Thanks to Bill S. and the IL VCA for a great event.
