I am looking at buying a self contained car mounted HD vidoe camera to record track events. The two top middle of the road ones out there are the GoPro HD and the Contour HD. Both use rechargeable Lithium batteries and use SD memory cards to save the video.
On line reviews aren't bad for either one but the GoPro is wide angle comes with a waterproof housing and has a much better microphone. Prices are pretty close to each other.
I searched the archives and there was a few posts about the Early non HD GoPro.
Does anyone have or anyone used either of the cameras? If so you thoughts.
