This is not to get in the way of Kurt's drive the following week. I just wanted everyone to know about it and if you can then pick the cities and call them so they have a good head count of what to expect. This is a chance to see some cool classics from the 30's to present on the road cruising South Texas.

*SAN ANTONIO:
More than a dozen car clubs will start from the parking lot of the Tri-Point facilities at 3233 N. St Marys St at US 281 north, between 8:00 and 9:00AM.

*CESTOHOWA:
The beautiful restored Church will be open for visitors. Restrooms facilities will be available. Note the names of the Spanish soldiers inscribed in the bricks surrounding the flag pole,. They were serving at the nearby Fuerte del Cibolo on July 4, 1776. Their mission was to protect the Camino Real and surrounding ranches, which were providing beef to support the troops allied to the American colonists. There are historical markers for both the fort and the church which was built in 1878.

*ELMENDORF:
The hospitality stop will be at St Anthony’s catholic Church on Killowatt Rd. restroom facilities will be available. Also the local Seniors group will have refreshments for sale to support their group.

*FALLS CITY:
Hospitality Stop at Pollok’s Deli, on the west side of 181, in downtown Falls City.
Goodies will be provided and restroom s are available.

*FLORESVILLE:
Market Days on the Courthouse Square will be our Hospitality Stop. We will park, in line, as usual on C Street, beside the Courthouse.

*HELENA:
Old Karnes County Courthouse Museum is a possible Hospitality Stop.

*LAVERNIA:
The Hospitality Stop will be at the LaVernia Heritage Museum, located at the intersection of FM775 and US87. There are some new additions to The Merchants of Chihuahua Street Exhibit. Contact: Elaine Stephens 830-947-3194 hm

*PANNA MARIA:
The beautifully restored Church with its painted ceiling, and the visitors center will be open for tours. The Visitors Center generally has Polish baked goods for sale. Contact: Loretta Nestroy (?) 830-780-2650


*POTEET:
Stop at the Poteet Winery. Tour the winery and enjoy the windmill display.
A lunch can be arranged at $10 per plate. However, they need confirmation for a minimum of 50 people. They do NOT require an advance payment.

*SEGUIN:
The New Braunfels Area Car Club is having their annual Car Show Around the Square in downtown Seguin.

*STOCKDALE:
The Hospitality Stop will be at the Stockdale Museum on Main Street. Shirley Dudley will have it open for us. You can visit with Shirley across the street in her Antique Store/Gift Shop. Stockdale has a new Birding Platform just off 87 as you come in to town. Contact: Shirley Dudley at 830-660-0401

*SUTHERLAND SPRINGS:
The Museum is still expanding. They always provide us with great hospitality and a fine array of goodies. Contact: Beulah Wilson 830-947-4053
