Just curious if there had ever been any discussion about offering a color choice for the SRT's top I personally would like to have the opportunity to go with another color other than black. Maybe even doing like other companies and coloring the top however one choices. Just curious.

As I understand it, PVO conducted extensive consumer clinics to address this very issue. The results were mixed and difficult to interpret.
In order to prevent further delays in the design and delivery process, PVO consulted with the Henry Ford archives in Dearborn.
The Team ultimately decided that Viper owners could have whatever color top they wanted as long as it was black.

Service and replacement parts issues would be monumental with different color tops on such a limited car. So BLACK it is.
Prowlers had some colored tops in the mix and OE replacements are nightmarishly expensive and long-leads to get one at all.
