This is the information on Hotel Denver in Glenwood Springs for Memorial Day weekend, May 28th, 29th, 30th checking out on the 31st.

Hotel Denver opened in 1915. The rooms have been all been updated. We have 20 rooms reserved under the Viper Club name but will be able to get more of the double rooms if needed. They will be held for us until February 15th for the discounted room rate. After February 15th the regular room rates will apply. Here is a listing of available rooms being held:

7 double queen rooms at $124 per night, regular price is $164
2 Colorado rooms with 2 queens at $139 per night, regular price is $179
11 single queen at $99 per night, regular price $139 (this is all the single queen rooms that Hotel Denver has, so first come/first served.)

When calling to make your reservations tell any receptionist (there are 3 that answer the phone) that you are part of the Viper Club. You will need a credit card to hold the room but will not be charged until checkout. Please be considerate if you need to cancel and notify the Hotel Denver by May 14th so that they will be able to rebook.

Here's the Itinerary:

Friday, May 28th...

9:00am - Meet at the Buffalo Herd Overlook on I-70 – Departure at 9:30 sharp.

12:00pm - Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park – lunch at the top – must ride the Mountain Tram - $12.00. Once at the top, there are cave tours, thrill rides, 4D theater, laser tag, gondola rides and incredible views. There are two large parking lots for us to park in.

5:00pm - Historic Hotel Denver – if you don’t already have a room, call 970-945-6565. There might still be Denver Rooms available with 1 queen bed for $139.00 – regular $159.00. Say you’re with the Viper Club. Parking will be coned off for our cars.

6:00pm - Dinner at Rib City & then Glenwood Hot Springs Pool – both within walking distance of hotel.​

Saturday, May 29th...

Breakfast on your own, multiple places to choose from, walking distance from hotel (Daily Bread, Glenwood Cafe, Village Inn, etc).

9:00am - We’ll drive to the Aspen area: to include a historic walking tour of the ghost-town of Ashcroft by the Aspen Historic Society, drive to Maroon Bells (fantastic photo op), lunch and shopping in Aspen.

5:30pm - Dinner at Riviera Supper Club – walk from and back to the hotel.​

Sunday, May 30th...

Breakfast on your own, multiple places to choose from, walking distance from hotel (Daily Bread, Glenwood Cafe, Village Inn, etc).

9:00am - Drive to Redstone / Marble – bring your Viper lunch bags.

Afternoon - Free to do whatever – bike rides / hikes / shopping / pool

6:00pm - Dinner at Rivers – We’ll drive there. There is a large parking lot.​

Monday, May 31st...

9:00am - Drive to Hanging Lake for gorgeous hike – for those who dare and then we’ll drive home.​
