I currently have a Blackberry Curve. I can FINALLY upgrade to a new phone at the end of May. This phone has been the biggest piece of 2 week old dog crap a person can own. My 1st 2 were replaced under warranty and this one is no better. Garbage reception, emails that don't show up on time, texts that don't get delivered, failed calls, dropped calls, etc. Verizon obviously rushed it to market before all the bugs were out of them. When I talked to Verizon tech support last time, I promised them I would be DESTROYING this phone and putting it on youtube.com for the world to see.

With that said, whats some ideas for my phone to violently meet its maker?

Thanks Mary! I'll miss the opportunity to take all my frustrations out on the piece of junk, but if it can help a soldier, I'm all for it :2tu:

    So....

I have a early model Magellan GPS that could not locate me 90% of the time. Since my cell phone looks like its been spared, everyone just give me ideas to kill the GPS unit :D I cussed the GPS just as much as my phone until I bought a new Garmin a few months ago, so this will still be sweet to see it suffer :rolaugh:

Get some pics of the geek leader of Verizon (you know that annoying 4 eyed geek) and use that somehow in a short movie with fire or a gun.

Bullets are always my first choice for destroying things but the blender option comes in as a close 2nd. CuttingTorches and sledge hammers can be fun too!

Here is a site where you can see just about anything shredded.

Put it under the rear wheels of your Viper and raise a cloud of smoke. Be sure to have the back end of the car pointed toward a wall so you can find the Blackberry when it gets squirted out from under the tire.

I threw my Curve at the wall a few times, usually at the conclusion of phone calls (not the phones fault, but....) and it never broke... probably better to donate/recycle it anyway.
As for the GPS, what kind of power supply does it have? maybe adapt a cable so you can feed it with 220 volts and see if it will catch fire from the inside out?

Interesting... The US Berries suck as much as the Canadian versions eh? Sister had the same issues. Was on phone #4 when she finally went to an I Phone.

As for how to destroy it, do you have any construction vehicles in the area? Bulldozer tracks, jack hammers, and people who really want to do something other than build the road, are a great combination! :D

Chad- a friend of mine asked if my buddies Sig & Beretta could "take care of" an old HDD of his that caused him much heart- and headache.
A VCA-OH member said we could do it at his large acreage place.
Our plan is to also video it using one of the Casio high speed digital video cameras (1000 frames per second).
I'm sure the HDD would enjoy some company.
    :D :D :D

    BB/RIM is a Canadian company. :D

I might just use whatever method is chosen for destroying the OP's Blackberry on my Verizon Motorola Droid A855. The bloody thing does not have a audible voicemail alert. The phone screen goes dark and is almost impossible to resurrect during a call so that typing passwords into your voicemail (when you do finally decide to check it) is frustrating. There is no way to make the email font any larger and its way too small. Using call waiting is a pain. If you answer the second call you can't hang up on the first call without disconnecting both. Its too easy to put the phone on silent by accidentally hitting the stupid buttons on the side. It also does not work globally, stupid!

I think the lesson here is that electronics all suck. It doesn't matter what brand, what model, where its made or what its made of...electronics WILL have issues. I'm on my 2nd blackberry and they've been the best phones I've ever had :dunno: if anyone can find a modern electronic that doesn't have any problems, let me know!

I think the same goes for the auto maker wars, too. Nothing is perfect :dunno:
