Okay first confession: I let the car sit for 6 months in the garage with windows down. I put in a new battery and everything was great. Rolled up both windows but noticed a little pop when DS window went all the way up. Now it acts like it is in a bind. Definitely getting power but won't come down. Anyone had this issue? 96 GTS

The plastic clip on the regulator syndrome it sounds like. Do not operate window again until it is fixed.

Thanks I am taking it in next week for several small things and hopefully there won't be parts availability issues. I have owned the car since new and now that it is 16 years old things happen.

Exact same problem here. Just happened. DS window on '97 RT10. Have not pulled the door panels yet. What is "plastic clip syndrome" and is it a simple replace or repair with new parts?

Any tips on door panel removal? Parts availability?

    Thanks guys in advance.

    Best,

    Bret.

Yes sir, thanks. Just ordered as well.

I am going to try and replace the clip without pulling the entire regulator. I may try and ease the wire off the pulley to ease the tension. Any tips.........?
