Is anyone planning to drive to VOI-10 even with the gasoline prices? It breaks down like this for me from south Louisiana to Detroit.
1. 2500 mile round trip at 15 mpg $708 – 4.25 a gallon
2 days drive one way with no problems.

Or

2. Shipping round trip $1850
Flight $764, 10 hours round trip (for 2 adults)

Or

3. Drive one way 1200 miles at $400
Ship back one way $925
One way flight $1098 (for 2 adults)
(one way flights cost more than round trips)

Go the cheap way for $1200 after hotels and meals.

Go the expensive way for $2700 after ride to airport.

Go the third way for $2500 after expenses, this just doesn’t add up might as well ship both ways and fly.

What do you think; I have always driven to the 7 VOI’s that I have attended. Not sure what to do this time.

Anyway you plan on going is going to cost a fortune. I don't believe you will find 91/93 octane at $4.25 a gallon along the interstates especially the furthur North you get. Love my Viper but 600 miles a day? I don't think this old man could take that. Airline tickets should be fairly reasonable if you book two weeks in advance or use priceline or something like that....only problem your Viperless:mad: I know they say "half the fun is getting there" but in this case.:dunno:
