Duel at Deanza Autocross pics

ILLSMOQ and I went to the Deanza Autocross on Sunday. Had alot of fun. If you havent been Id recommend going next year. Mostly because its close to us and only cost $20 to run. They have been running this annually for 38 years. You only get one session though, which is first lap practice, then as you come around on practice lap and pass start/finish, your time begins. You then get 2 laps for a combined time. Average lap times were about 25-30 seconds.
I was able to get a 52 second combined and got 2nd place plaque for my class. I think Im going to try and do more of these at different places. It was alot of fun. I guess at most other events you get more runs with less people. There were about 250 cars at this event.

Congrats MikeR on your 2nd place win!!! Must've been a blast...great pictures, thanx for posting...250 various cars, no telling WHAT was under the hood of some of them! $20, you cannot beat that!! Sounds like you enjoyed yourself--the main thing!! ~juli~

It was a blast! Half the cars in our class had autocross tires so it's even more impressive that Mike pulled off a 2nd place behind 1st place which was a fully
equipped GT2 on autocross slicks.
