I was just at the DMV registering the 08 ($1525) WTF?!?!!? I asked about whether or not we had to have front plates in Nevada. NO you are not required to have front plates on cars that do not come with a front plate bracket MOUNTED from the factory. So there is no need to worry about drilling holes or scratching the front bumper with needless brackets.:drive::2tu:

Thanks for the heads-up, and it's pretty sad when there's "Viper Tax" and the DMV too. I wonder what it would be for a Bugatti Veyron or Enzo?

Many thanks! I just moved to Minden. Anybody got an '02 like mine, pictured below? Didn't want to plate it!

Parts Rack makes a pretty nice snap in rubber mounting piece for those states where you need to run a front plate. It just clips in and holds your plate security. If you want to take it off (like at a car show) is only takes a couple seconds.
