Gift for fiancé

Hey all!

My fiancé and I are getting married about 30 min north of Chicago in August and I’m looking for a way to surprise him. He has been obsessed with vipers since before he could drive when a smashed night up viper with 16 miles on it was brought into his best friend’s family tow lot. He has a viper tattoo, signed photos of Carroll Shelby, but has yet to own one.
I’ve looked at trying to rent a viper on a million sites but apparently they are unrentable to the commoner such as myself. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to rent one for an hour just so we can take wedding photos around it?

Are you looking to drive the car, or just have it
for photos? Im sure a local owner or two will be
happy to visit your wedding for photo-ops, but
as for renting/driving you may be out of luck these
days. Vipers are high-strung vehicles and most
insurance companies do not cover rental insurance
on them.

However, if youre just looking for some background
decorations, id suggest starting a new thread with
a title like "need viper(s) for wedding photos." Throw
in some comments about numerious bridesmaids and
free alcohol and you might be able to cover the parking
lot in snakes... ;-)

If you haven’t tied the knot yet, you might want to check out turo (turo.com). They have all kinds of cars to rent including vipers. There are two on there in the northern Illinois area. That would make an awesome wedding car!

Darn! Thanks for the info but we got married this past Saturday. Everything was beautiful so he doesn’t even know what he was missing lol
