Good place to cruise for lunch?

I haven't had my car for that long so I haven't spent much time off the beaten path outside of Houston. With how nice the weather has been I have been getting the itch to set up a cruise. But not sure where to go. Last cruise I went on other than the viper cruise (through Sam Houston National forest) was to Round top. Round top was a great drive but looking to trying a new place. Lets hear where you guys would go for good roads and good food.
