Merry Christmas! If the weather is looking good on New Year's Day, Grill 57 (www.grill57.com) has a cruise-in that day. I missed the last one, but heard there were probably 500 cars there.

Give it some thought and let's see how the weather turns out. That cruise-in would be a nice way to greet 2013!

I am going to swing over there tomorrow (Saturday Dec15th) for lunch just in case some cars still decide to show for the monthly cruise-in. The New Years Day cruise-in is a surprisingly big event. If any local VCA members haven't been and you enjoy seeing a nice variety of collectible cars, then I highly recommend checking it out. It is very similar to Cars&Coffee, but with burgers & milkshakes instead. :2tu:

Today's N&O had a blurb on the Grill 57 New Year's cruise in.

Nice weather today Chris. I'm surprised nobody was out there today.

The new Years Day cruise-in starts a bit earlier. I think some guys start arriving around 10am... 11am all the good spots are gone

For anyone interested in a long day of checking out all types of rides...

Cars & Coffee @ Waverly Place, Cary NC ~9am

then

Cruise-in to Grill 57 Garner, NC ~noon

I am not sure if I can swing both, but it is definitely a nice option for those with a free day
