Help Needed - Hood Transportion

I still need help in transporting a Viper GTS hood from St. Louis to Houston.

If anyone coming from up North to the Viper World Drag Racing Championships in Houston/San Antonio on October 21st and has room in their trailer or truck I would really appreciate some help.

The hood is not in perfect shape so I am not worried about scrapes or scratches - just that it gets here in one piece.

I could meet you in Houston, San Antonio or at the track and I will pay for gas/expenses/drinks to help pay for the trip down.

You could UPS Ground it for a few hunderd bucks. I sent a 200 lb box of dishes to NY about half the size of the hood and it was like half the size of a viper hood.

Just an idea. You would be surprised what UPS will take. (Just about anything)

I've thought about shipping the hood - but since it is not in a crate or box I don't think any shipping company would be willing the risk damage to the hood.

If anyone has any suggestion on how to get it to Houston or has shipped a hood I'm open to ideas.

Why don't you ask a friend with a Viper to take a road trip to St. Louis half naked and return fully dressed?

Driving with bare hood hinges in front of you makes for a good gun sight!
