I have a 2001 RT/10 that the original owner installed a chrome accessory over the front hood air duct. Is there a safe way of removing this chrome piece without harm to the paint or the finish? Need your input. Thanks.

I would imagine the accessory is stuck to the hood using double sided felt tape, similar to the adhesive tape that the Viper badges are stuck on with on the side of the hood and rear bumper.

Use a hair dryer to gently heat the accessory tape then use dental floss to slide between the hood and the felt tape, once item is removed spray on some WD40 to remove any sticky spots :)
