July 24, 2011... The IN/KY VCA has been invited by "The Original Circle City Corvette Club" to participate in their annual "Open Car Show" @ the Marion County Fairgrounds (located on Indy's southeast side...see map link below) as part of the 2011 Marion County Fair.
The Marion County Fair's "Open Car Show" will take place on July 24, 2011. Registration begins at 8:30 AM and closes at 12:00 NOON...with the awards taking place at 2:00 PM EDT.

Just a couple of other additions:

For us KY guys, this weekend is the Somernites Power Cruise in Somerset, KY (south-central Kentucky, near Cumberland Lake):

This is a HUGE monthly car show that routinely tops 1000 cars, and the Power Cruise addition brings in hundreds more from all over the US.

And for those not inclined toward cars this weekend, the Dayton Air Show is also happening in Dayton, OH, featuring the Thunderbirds this year!

I hear that today's event at GingerMan Raceway is getting hammered by storms...but, it will hopefully clear up in an hour or so.
