So far, the weather looks like it will be cooler on Saturday,,,high of 86, under sunny skies,

This should be a FUN meeting...and a great opportunity to learn about YOUR Viper's tranny!

From our President:

The Chassis dynomometer at RPM Transmissions will not be available for power runs this Saturday. RPM's facility had been hit by lightening which disabled their computers, including the one for the chassis dyno. Most of the computers have been fixed but the dyno computer has not. They had hoped to get it back in time for out meeting. (It had been returned from the supplier once but did not function properly and had to be sent back). Murphy is alive and well and living in Daleville. Nevertheless its a neat shop with great, knowledgeable people and they are still hosting our July meeting.

The meeting will still be at noon, July 10, but there will not be power runs starting at 9am as previously reported. They are normally not open on Saturday so if you show up much before 11am you may be alone.

Jim Robertson
President IN/KY Viper Club of America

The brief meeting WILL start a NOON...followed by a tour of the shop...and PIZZA !!!

As reported previously, the weather should be quite nice tomorrow...GREAT opportunity to not only drive your Viper, but to ask the experts any/all questions that you may have concerning your transmission and it's functional status, differential issues/swaps, and half-shaft needs. I'm starting to think of tomorrow as a "drive-line clinic" where you can actually find out the reason for some of the sticky shifting issues, "klunky sounds", etc. This is a unique opportunity to sort out the difference between"normal", "wear and tear" issue, and impending failures. These transmissions can be made smoother and stronger much easier than most would guess.

The folks at RPM do excellent work...at very fair prices.

COME tomorrow and find out for yourself !!!
