The VCA Ind/Ky Region will take part in the annual Car Show, Frankfort, Ky this Sunday (June 2, 2002). Our Southern Director, Glenn Wooldridge, has arranged a FULL weekend of events...starting today with a trip to ASC in Bowling Green, Ky...where they will likely revisit the Corvette Museum as well. A cruise is planned in Frankfort tomorrow PM. The main event will be Sunday's Capital City Classic Auto Club Car Show (in downtown Frankfort Old Capitol and St. Clair Mall). Last year OUR Club won the most awards for a club.
This year there is a pleasant surprise:
Frankfort's Mayor Bill May has proclaimed Sunday June 2, 2002 as "VIPER DAY" . We would love to have as many people with Vipers to show up as possibly can for the official proclamation on Sunday at the Capital City Classic Car Show.
Hopefully, those living in Kentucky and Southern Indiana can at least make a visit to the show on Sunday.
