Don't know why......he was in a C5 with way less hp then the Viper.

I believe he's a Chevy guy..........kind of like some guys are Dodge only guys

As far as I know, Ranger only drives Corvettes. I'm with you though, I'd like to see what he can do with an SRT.

I believe Wanted is just about as good in a Viper as Ranger is in a Corvette though.

Actually he was in a C6 ZO6, which makes Wanteds attempt look even better, but they finally wound up running index times and Wanted let Ranger use drag tires. But the first time they were running a few weeks prior they were running pretty close straght up and I think Wanted was down around 11.55 STOCK except for a cat back exhaust. Very impressive.

Wanted is still racing a GenII. Even though it has an aftermarket exhaust, shouldn't it still be slower than a stock SRT-10??

No doubt he is a good driver, but the air being around 800' BELOW sea level helped that car a bunch.
