Could this be the super-secret, all-wheel drive, NAVY mil-spec. (Note the battleship grey, non-reflective paint) Paris-to-Dakar version? With the high-flow Nickel-Cadmium intakes?

Paul: Please confirm or deny, either directly or through your publicist...unless, of course, it's still classified...

I think Mumford needs the all wheel drive version with his new track shortcuts he displayed at Buttonwillow. I heard they will stock "Lake Mumford" so next time by he can fly fish while waiting for the rest of the field.

Paul is Fast! The Sunday race was more enjoyable than an AMLS race. Paul took the lead and Foster slipped under him on 14. Paul stayed with Foster for 10-20 minutes then regained the lead for the rest of the race. Foster stayed 1-5 seconds behind Paul and McCann was 1-5 seconds behind Foster and Woodhouse was 1-5 seconds behind McCann. And Gary L's blue CC looked quite nice, as he chased the leaders and had to withdraw with a flat tire.

Excellent Performance by all racers all classes.

We know he can drive. The question remains: can he change his own brake pads yet? :D

And that comment about short cuts? Yeah, that's so he can litter the track with chunks of broken pavement and keep the competition at bay. Everyone behind runs over it and cleans the course before his next lap.

Paul the # 27 on your car is too straight, next time make the 7 a little crooked.

Don't worry Ron, after Paul takes a few fast laps. that 7 will be slanting on its own :D

In reference to Paul changing his own brake pads:

Paul: "Hey Skip, what are brake pads?"

Skip: "They are used to slow the car down when approaching a turn."

Paul: "You use your brakes?"

A few words to PMUM:
This thread sure gives a good snapshot of what you meant to so many of us. Sheesh, just when it was getting to be fun! You're gonna be sorely missed by all.
Rest in peace. Now it's up to the rest of us to try and figure out how the heck you managed to go so fast.
Thanks for the memories. You sure knew how to make a Viper fly.
