Looking like a potentially good turn-out. Seems like enough to try and set a date and see about some commitments. Carolinas Viper Club will certainly help in any way to make this happen. Some people are club members but not on these forums, so with a date set, we can get emails out to those others to drum up more participation. Not sure if you thinking this spring, but if so, check out the other thread with already-scheduled events so we can get a different date (hate to have a conflict and split people between events).

You are correct, many East Coast chapters have already put out their events calendars. I would look at their individual sites and see where to fit this event in. As a suggestion, with so many events already planned for the spring, an early fall time frame might work better. Here in SE Va. we have a Virginia Beach sponsored auto show on the boardwalk on April 18, and a cruise to the Outer Banks on May 9. (more details on this event to come, since some of you in NC may want to attend)

I think September would be best...off season rates, not as hot and, for us golfers, plenty of available tee times!!! Plus, this would give plenty of time to line up some restaurants and other places that can give us deals and special parking.

I also spoke to Chad last night...he's in as well!!! We had been discussing this about the time of VOI, but never got it fleshed out. I think this could be a lot of fun!

September sounds great to me. It is far enough out where I hopefully can arrange time off. Room rates don't bother me, I am staying at Slaughters beach house. I hear it's 8000 sq feet of pure luxury! Hey! Why don't we all stay there????????????

I apologize. I ran into some good sized car problems and other things.
I plan to be down in MB quite a bit in the next month or so and will check out some area hotels. Looks like we will shoot for holding it in September and I should have a date posted in July.

I haven't heard anything recently. I was talking to Chad about it the other day and he's supposed to get back to me as we were planning something similar since last fall. We were thinking late September (which seems to be agreeable to some in this thread). It's nice down there through mid-October...so let's all figure this out. Will be a ton of fun!!!
