I couple of weeks ago I had a contractor sealing my drive way with an oil based sealer. They had to raise my garage door a few inches to get up to the end. Today I noticed that apparently when they were spraying it some of the sealer drifted in the garage and landed on the flat surface of the rear bumper. It would not come off with a detail spray as I tried a small spot, the clay bar did an awesome job removing any of the residue from the sealer....gotta say I am glad the Junkman talked me into believing in using a claybar:headbang:

No matter how far you work away from your garage with any kind of aerosol, if the door to your garage is open, that stuff will find its way to your car. Spoken from experience! :smirk:

Clay is excellent for removing over-spray with doing any damage to the paint. :)

Clay bars are amazing! My wife's G35X had tiny rust specs in the clear coat. I was told it was "rail dust". After about 45 minutes with the clay bar, the car looked new again!
