Well here I am in Cabo San Lucas and not one Viper. Got a cool "Viper" braclet here on the beach. Show you all later. :headbang:

Never been to Cabo but I have been told it is really nice. Seems to be a very popular West Coast destination since it is rather close for many out there.

One is a desert with lots of casinos and no beaches.

Depends on what you want to do...I would choose Cabo ( http://www.lasventanas.com ) but then again I don't care for Vegas.

I drove from San Diego to CSL. There is a reason no Vipers are there. The road is horrible and littered with crosses. 1000 miles, 10 days, 40 mph average. Notice the road is not plural, there is only one. I suppose you could ship one in, maybe?

Re: \\no Vipers in Cabo San Lucas

I've been to Cabo twice. Back in '90 before it got to be touristy and once again in '99. Back in '90, it was a small fishing town with one hotel which was a broken down Holiday Inn. No main roads. Great fishing. Van Halen opened up a night club around that time and now it seems to have become a strip mall. But, the fishing is still incredible. Nothing quite like renting a charter boat for the day, fishing for marlin and having a cookout on the beach. I can't imagine owning a Viper out there...where do you find enough road for it?

I figured the roads were horrible. What did you mean by "Crosses"?

Probably means those crosses that morons put on the side of the road where someone dies. :curse:

Re: \\no Vipers in Cabo San Lucas

Hola,

I travel to Cabo often and have a little two story casita half way between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas but would never consider driving my Viper there. Rather, drive something with SIZE and Never make eye contact at 4-ways! There are no driving laws, just suggestions!!

If you would like a great fishing experience in Cabo, try my charter boat ADRENALINE...A/C, all Penn International gear, full new electronics, tuna tubes, fighting chair, several hundred quality lures. You can see my boat at www.delanterasportfishing.com or through my charter broker www.cabomagic.com.

If you want "insider" suggestions for where to go / see in Los Cabos, PM me.

There are 8 major fishing tournaments there and October saw one boat win close to
$4-million USD for top Blue marlin in the Bisbee's Black and Blue Tournament!!

Simply great fishing!

For fishing, I recommend hiring mermaids.

There are some nice twisty roads on the drive to La Paz, I drove the hell out of a Volkswagen Pointer, which looks like a damn Ford Fiesta! For $9 dollars a day and unlimited miles, you can't beat it!

Re: \\no Vipers in Cabo San Lucas

Hi Ken,

I was kidding, implying that it's a "sign of weakness" at four-ways! NOT implying that you should be afraid of driving or exploring Cabo! The locals are in no way dangerous!

BTW, the highway to La Paz is through free-range so cattle can and will cross the highway when you least expect it! So be careful on those twisty roads.
