Now there are two \"Pace Car Pilots\" 
Well, I entered the elite group of "Pace Car Pilots" today.
I was asked to pace the local races at the "Festival of Two Rivers" in Arkadelphia in my '95 RT/10. It was a trip to watch the kids chasing the Viper in my rear view mirror. Yes Kids. I paced kids running races ranging from two blocks to one mile. Their ages ranged from 4 to 10 yr's old.
Out of all the races, in only one did a kid not finish (sort of). But that was not so bad, he got to sit on the center console in the Viper for the last five blocks, smilin' the whole time. We dropped him off one block for the finish... he was still last, but he ran like the wind, flapping his arms like a bird the whole time with everyone cheering. Too much fun
I was surprised how well the Viper did, I thought it might pop it's top as all I did was basically idle for two hours in the heat of mid-day. This was almost as much fun as hauling the Buzz Calkins in the Indy parade.
