WOW...What a great weekend! Any members of the NY/CT VCA that missed this trip...you missed a GOOD TIME! Met at the Canasawacta Country Club for a wonderful lunch overlooking the beautiful golf course and the hills beyond. A terrific 14 yr old boy who is a huge Viper fan and who lost a leg recently in a four-wheeler accident not only joined us for lunch but got a ride in a Viper! Talk about excited! It sure put a smile on his face! We then "slithered" through town in a parade fashion and on to the museum for the tour and an impromptu "Viper Show" in front of the museum. What a crowd...they loved it! Dinner at the East Park Supper Club. On Sunday, everyone took a beautiful country ride on winding rural roads to the Fly Creek Cider Mill and then on to Cooperstown, the Birthplace of Baseball and then a tour around Glimmerglass (also known as Otsego Lake). Rural upstate New York is one of the best-kept secrets in the Northeast. It is breathtaking this time of year! Hope you all can make it next time...you won't be disappointed! Be sure to ask one of the members who went on the cruise what they thought about it! Thanks guys...it was great!
