Oak Tree at VIR is down

    Not sure if everyone had heard about this yet. What crazy timing as we are headed up there in 10 days for the NARRA event.

    Here's what the corner looks like now. Such a shame, but we will be safer during the fall season when leaves fall. It got slippery! No more Oak tree Turn 10.jpg Was a VIR icon and it will be missed

    ...and in a century it might look something like the original. Maybe.

    Sad to hear that the distinctive landmark of VIR is gone.

    Yes because I viewed it after I posted it. It was two photos from VIR taken from the tree post of my track day. And I saw it post.

    I resend my comment. There is apparently 2 oak tree threads and for some reason when I looked in my prior posts the other one did not show up as me posting.
