The phones at SVS are back online.

We're ready to accept payment for the 35 orders on the current shifter group buy list.

We will start shipping on Friday 11-3.

We will give everyone on the current list until Monday 11-6 to make payment for their order.

After 11-6 we will start going to customers on the waiting list who want to get in on the group buy prices.

At this time we only have enough shifters to fill 35 orders.

After this group buy is completed we plan on starting another one.

Thank you to everyone for your orders :)

Got the shifter installed today. Went with the 2" bolt but didn't set it all the way to the bottom and I love it. The shifts just click in. Reverse is a little hard to get to where I have to use both hands. Time to grow some muscle.

Ron showed me around his shop and explained what he's done to the cars there [about 5 of them] in detail. Crazy power in that shop.

Then the best part, after the installation was complete he was unloading the beast he ran in TX. It sounds brutal. Checked out some videos of his run too.

Back to topic, the install took about 2 hrs. Ron took step by step pics of the install and will post them here. We had to lower the transmission a little because the stock shifter bolt was stuck on my shifter which was the worst case scenario. John [guy who did the install] clearly showed how it can be done without having to lower the transmission. You will understand it better when Ron posts the pics.

Great bunch of guys.

PS: You will notice some oil [a lot actually]on the bottom of the car in the pics. Some of you might remember that there was a leak in my car a couple weeks ago when I had to change the timing chain gasket. Now it is leaking from somewhere else which I will have to figure it out at the dealer on Monday.

When going at it from underneath, is there anything that needs to be removed inside, besides the shift knob?

Thanks,

THe shift knob and the connecting rod that you hook the knob onto. Once that connecting rod is removed, the shifter will easily slide down.

A,

It was a pleasure meeting you and helping get your shifter installed !

Actually there's 6 Vipers and 1 Noble besides our Viper and 2 other Vipers that are out at a different shop :D

I'm going to go through the pics of the shifter install tomorrow and try to get them on our site.

I emailed everyone today who didn't make payment yet and I'll make a post in the next couple days to either announce there's openings and go to the waiting list or start another group buy.

Thanks again

Oh! yeah, forgot about the Noble. Great job you guys did on that. Thanks for taking the time to show me the graphs and all the work done on those cars, Ron. Let me know about the options for the cat delete. Eager to stop by your shop again and check out more cars.

***UPDATE***

I'm shipping out 5 shifters tomorrow to the names listed for shipping on 11/16

There's 4 names left on the list to make payment. I will give these orders the chance to make payment until the last shifters are made next week

Bloose, I will send you an email or please call me tomorrow at 630-878-2132

********WAITING LIST*********

Good news regarding extra shifters

We have enough parts to complete another 10 shifters but that's the absolute cutoff for at least another couple months. I won't be able to ship these out until the end of next week because a few pieces for the shifters still need to be machined and heat treated. If everyone pays that’s left on the list plus the 10 waiting list orders than I can send the shifters as soon as I receive them.

After I receive the final batch of shifters any names on the lists below that haven’t paid will be removed and space will be made for anyone who wants to fill the order.

I was told I'll have the last 16 shifters in 1-2 weeks.

When I recieve them I'll immediately ship to everyone that has made payment from the list below. I will make a post when they have shipped and any shifters I have left over from people who ordered and didn't pay will go to the first who call and make payment. I'm working on the pics/instructions of the install we did from underneath on a Gen2 GTS.

Got mine today. Instructions would be really cool! I put a B&M on my 96 a few years ago, it was a real pi$$er drilling out those rivits. Do we still have to do that?.... (I have a 2001)

Ron said he was going to put together some sort of illustrated install how-to online. Or post it here somewhere I guess.

It's probably about the same as this http://www.viperclub.org/menus/index_how_illup.htm

But they should be shipped with at least printed instructions. That alone would probably give enough info on how to do it.

No instructions with mine. The Illustrated Instructions is for an install from the top. I would like one on how to do it from below. Suppose I could figure it out myself but good instructions would probably save me a few hours.
