I need some help please guys.
At my last oil change which was done by a Dodge dealer, when removing the oil filter they must have knocked and disturbed the oil level check shaft which is nearby. I was under the car when they did this at the dodge dealer and there were no leaks. Fast forward to today when I lift the car to do my own oil change and I discover that oil has been leaking from where this shaft enters the motor.
Question is what seals this pipe into the motor and what can I do to reseal it.
The shaft is not loose at all, just leaching from the joint.
Has anyone had this happen, and how did they fix it?
