-OPTIONS- stripes and stereos

When it comes to options on the GenII GTS:

Back in the day, were "stripes" an option, or was the car considered "stripes delete" when it had no stripes?
What about 1996 when they all had stripes?

How about stereo/AC, is the comfort group considered an option? even though most cars came with the comfort group.

I'm just curious about the history and what was actually standard equipment.

In 1996, the GTS's were all blue with white stripes. 97 GTS's came two ways...blue/white or solid red. After that, one ordered plain of stripes. A/C and stereo were standard for GTS...except 99-02 ACR's where they were added back if customer chose same.
