Performance engine controller (computer)

I've seen quite a bit of discussion about performance upgrades to the Viper and what they are generally worth in terms of HP but I can't recall any mention of a performance engine controller (computer). Do they exist for the Viper and if so, what are they "generally" worth on a 96/97 GTS and who sells them at the best price?

Yes they exist for the Viper but by itself they don't add any horsepower.
Price is/was at full retail from a Mopar/DC dealer,$520.
I paid $367 for mine and only used it for a couple of days.
