The Northern California chapter kicked off the new year in a terrific place, Auto Vino. Auto Vino is a unique place where they combine two passions under one roof, the love of cars and of wine.

Here are some pictures of the cars stored there.

Maurice kicked off the meeting with the making of the Ring Record video....

Then he moved on to other business and discussions of the upcoming unveiling in New York and VOI.

The awards for outstanding contributor of 2011 were presented...

A new to the area VCA member was recognized and welcome to the chapter. He is on loan to us from Japan for about two years. Unfortunately, he had to leave his 96 GTS there. I can feel his pain....

A charity auction of donated items was conducted. Some notable artwork went to new homes. One piece was an extremely limited Ring poster signed by Ralph. Another piece was a painting by Roy Sjolberg.(spelling). The bidding was rowdy but good natured.

The final event of the evening was the raffle prizes.

Unfortunately the rain kept most of the Vipers away but all in all, It was a great evening with great people at a great place, who could ask for more!i

Had a fun time. It was good to see every one to kick off the new year. Janis was right in the middle of all that bidding I thought for sure it was going to cost me a few bucks. Nice pictures Ken!

Great to see everyone, even if all the cars had to stay home... Thanks for the pics, Ken.

Starting to seem like the best way to cure our drought is to hold a VCA meeting!
