Would love to see pictures of everyone's (whomever has) 1994 Rent a Car Systeme team cars. I know there are the 1:43 versions of both cars - #40 & 41 - and at least one 1:18 scale... have never seen this one. There was a neon colored #40 that just sold on Ebay, pretty sure one of our members beat me to it!

I will take better pictures of my two once my new #41 arrives.

Hope this isn't too much of a bother.

Thanks very much.

Cheers.

why bother with the models, the proper race car was for sale not long back :)

the 1:18 rent a cars do appear every now and then on the german and french ebay, Baz has a couple of them sitting in his garage (orange and lime green)

Eric, thanks...those pics are killer! The 1:18 scale Rent A Car Team cars are gorgeous. But, alas, if I am to invest...then I prefer to put money into my "real" '98 RT/10.

I am happy that I have managed to get the set (#40, 41) in 1:43 scale...mint in box.

Thanks.

I bought an extra 1:18 in Yellow some years ago.
It is the exact same model and parts as the SMS Vipers, but the color is like the normal Bburago series, yellow.

Does anyone know anything more about these series? I know they were made as FluoYellow in a limited series of a 100, but in yellow?

I was never really far away.... just having other things around.
The 1967 bug is restored to pristine quality..... and Tessa (my little daughter) is getting 11 weeks tomorrow.

Curious on what you have.

Now back on topic....
Anyone seen those yellow (not fluo) RT-LM before?

Some other interesting 1994 LeMans Rent a car models:

- Fly created a 1/32 scale slot car for both car 40 and 41. I have both. Hard to find.
- Le Mans minatures, a French company, has painted ready to assemble 1/87 scale kits for both 40 and 41 cars and the GTS coupe. Very hard to find. I bought them when I went to the 1996 Le Mans race to root for Team Canaska Viper.

If someone is interested, I'll post pix of the above models this weekend.

I posted this on the other 94 Le Mans car thread as well.

Cheers,
James Taylor
