I'm amazed at how many people on here complain about this car before it is even out…crying about 640 horses…pathetic! I bet it will be much faster than anyone expected when tested...like the nissan gtr...under promise...over deliver!!! It will be magnificent and as those on the inside keep hinting …"fast as a m_ther_ucker!!!"

ps…for those in the NY/CT area there is a stretch of dark mostly pork free 4 lane highway (actually on the way to Tator's) where someone (not me) can prove it will break 200…how much faster do you need to go???...call SpaceX next

Glad to see someone else thinks this is one of the most butt ugly machines on Earth. It needs to go fast , so you don't have to see it looking like and overgrown squashed beetle, it only looks better blurred. IMHO of course,ha.

Actually, allegedly, can do about 205mph on that stretch, so I'm told.

It may be "faster" for one lap around the ring, but it still falls short in HP! Even the new mustang has more power. Now i'm not saying the Mustang going to be faster, but the outragousness of the Viper is GONE with this model. What ever happend to being the #1 American Super car..? Not to mention a plastic engine cover... Really?

HP is not everything. It's just like the ignorant masses judging a stereo system or any amp on the total watts. I've got a 100 watt amp at home that would blow the windows out of my house if I would let it all the while with perfectly clear sound. Most people would laugh at my "100 watt only" amp... Why? Because they don't know jack ____ until they hear the quality.

That being said, a SUPERCAR is made up of more than just hp. It's also, torque, gearing, weight, weight distribution, suspension, etc., etc... I just laugh at all this hp wars crap...

I do, however, love the Veyron and wish I could afford one.

Donuts4me9....Please lay off the donuts! What is "it may be faster for one lap around the ring" mean? Isn't that how you measure performance! Like on a track? How many times things look good on paper but don't add up on the track or on the field "in sports" you can tell me all the numbers you want. But when I kick your butt on the track, I don't give a crap on your claims! and please don't tell us about who is going to be faster until they prove it, the mustang has always been a heavy pig that takes someone other than the manufacture to make go fast. Why would it be any different this time? And even thou I don't like the engine cover myself, you can't see it with the hood closed!Or at 206

I mostly agree, but the Mustang really isn't ugly. It's a nice pony car like the Camaro and has its place.
