wanted to swap my gen1 rear with a gen2 , how hard is it to remove the rear with the batwing attached. any tricks or recomandations on removal , thanks to all
Don't know about a Gen 2 but I removed my Gen 3 several weeks ago and it helped having a second person. It's a simple unbolt and finagle it around the cables and such. Also it's about 75# to move around so a second pair of hands helped. Besides it being a little tight it's very straight forward.
I slid my OSG/3.73 in by myself using only a floor jack. Same with removal. No need for any help other than the jack. Be sure and retorque everything to spec.
