Running Rough............help?

2003, always run great. Out of the blue, when you get to 3,000 rpm the car starts fluttering like you hit the rev limiter. This happens in any gear if you try and hold the rpms at 3,000.

If you run WOT the car moves through the gears fine (ok, not like normal) except when you let off of the gas and depress the clutch the rpms drop fast. Upon pulling to a stop with clutch in, the rpms drop way down like it will wants to die but then comes back to almost a normal idle.

I have unplugged the battery and reattached but that has been about it. Can't remember if this was tied to a new tank of gas or not.

Any ideas???????

-check your throttle body (idle air intake, I forgot the exact mechanical name)

-Check for Damaged/cracked S.P. wires that could be grounding somehere in the header/block...

change the spark plugs, it is cheap insurance. At least look at them as they will tell the story.
