Side Sill Vents

Is anyone running these vents? Are they working?

Installing them as of now. Are they working? I mean this with respect, but you have to put this kind of stuff in the category of non-rocket science, which is the premise I'm working with here. Quick review...

1. OE side sills are basically "sealed" from air movement.

2. Air movement provides cooling to a hot surface providing the air is cooler than what you are trying to cool.

Science class is over.

I am using a different product than the one being listed by the vendor that started this thread. The fit on the OD is not perfect, but I wanted louvers and not slots.

Powdered coated black, they'll blend in and not be seen.

All of the sill vents have their own niche, including the quality looking product being promoted above. I would pick one from the many choices, and do it. If you've seen the other thread I did about adding vent holes underneath the sills, I suspect mine will be really cool. Still under construction in that department.
