My understanding is that you don't *need* 255s for the rear.
Wheels are all the same size and I think the new cars are
coming 245s. If you don't thrash your car you might want
to look into it.

Yes, but that would be like putting 335's on the Viper. -they'll fit, but no thanks.

The way I see it, if you are looking to save a couple of hundred
bucks by buying a set of Goodyears, then who really cares if youre
running 255 vs 245 on the rear? If performance is your only goal
then there are better, price-be-damned, tire options out there.

I think Luke is trying to offer us DD owners with a VERY cheap
alternative, and if cheap is your game, the narrower tires
certainly are an option.

Put 245s all around on my car. Couldn't tell any difference.

Best thing is that you can rotate the tires ...

Thanks for letting us know about the deal on the tires, but these GY's are a horrible tire... expensive and don't last very long. I switched to a Michelin non-runflat w/ a 60k mile warranty and couldn't be happier. Went wit 245's all around so I could rotate the tires.
