Soft Top Repair

I have a 98 rt/10. The soft top has a very small tear in it. Did not go all the way through. it is just below surface. About 1/4". Any suggestions what to put on it to keep it from getting worse. I put a piece of Monster tape on the underside. About a 1" piece. Cannot see it because it is all the way in the back. Any thoughts or suggestions would help. Thank you.

I used an iron on blue jean patch. I put it on the inside. You can get them at Wal Mart in thesewing and material section.

I did the same thing with one of my soft tops. The iron on patch has bee in service for over 6 years and has performed flawlessly.

Do you guys notice a lot of wind noise with your soft tops? I need one for my 97 but curious how it on freeway, etc.
