It would be nice if a buch of different Vipers could attend:
Who: Anyone with a Special Car, Truck, Motorcycle or Automotive Display.
When: Saturday, April 24th
Where: Inside the PONTIAC SILVERDOME®. Special area for show vehicles.
Why: To promote the old car hobby and display your vehicles to 250+ Cub Scouts and their families.
Cost: Free
There is no additional fee for parking.
There is no additional fee for spectators.
Trophy for car voted best of show by the Cub Scouts
· All types of vehicles are welcome.
· Please register your vehicle by April 21st, e-mail Mark Wroblewski ([email protected]) or call Jessica McPherson at 248-338-0035 ext. 18.
· Check-in starts at 6:00am. All vehicles must be in place by 8:30am.
· Race & Show should be done by 2:00p.m. Cars can be moved after race is completed.
· Special entrance for wheelchair accessibility.
· Displays are to be admired but not touched.
· This is a Scouting event.
· NO Food or Drinks can be brought in, Silverdome Security Policy.
· Food and drinks will be available to purchase. All profits will benefit the Pontiac-Manito District Order of the Arrow Chapter.
— Cub Scouts (ages 7- 11) make model cars out of a block of Pine.
— The cars are raced down a 30 – 40 foot track.
— Cars will be judged for designs and creativity.
— Race Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and end by 10:30 a.m.
— Race will begin at 11 a.m. and end by 2:00 p.m
We will need help with this large scale event. We will need race tracks, race officials, pit crews, help with registration, and more.
