SRT\'s testing at Nelson Ledges this week...

Many have heard the stories of Neil Hannemann and co. from team Viper putting the Gen I car through its paces at Nelson Ledges in northeast Ohio prior to its release.

Well on Sunday, as an SCCA Regional event was finishing up, a small group of SRT-10's with MI (manufacturers?) plates pulled into Nelson Ledges, along with a couple of enclosed trailers. Presumably, they were there to do some more testing this week. Couldn't tell if the Comp. Coupe was there too...

Historically, N.L. is the "Enduro" venue for Viper testing. The most punishing long-distance tests of OE longevity occurs here, since 1992.

I wonder if that's because the track is so rough with so many patches?
